Singing Those Great Songs From Back In the Day


People often ask me, "What kind of singer are you?"

And I answer, "Uh...um...well..let's see.." and try to come up with a great answer. Even though I don't have one.

I'm a singer of songs from "back in the day."

Those great songs of the 30's, 40's and 50's that are timeless,
the songs written for musical theate, and a few jazz standards.

But I also love the great songwriters of my generation.
Joni Mitchell. Billy Joel. John, Paul, George and Ringo. And more recently, John Mayer.

I love to take these songs and make them my own by arranging them into a more contemporary, jazz idiom. And then, weave them into a show of song and story.
